Settled 1806. Originally part of Portage County. Located in E. Akron.

STONY HILL-Located in W. Richfield.

STOW

Settled 1804 by Joshua STOW & William WETMORE. Originally part of Portage County.

 SUMMIT BEACH PARK: Located in W. Akron.

Swartz Corner's -Locatd in W. Akron.

Steels Corners: Named for Revolutionary War soldiers Adam and Isaac Steele.

Spicer Town:  Founded abt 1810.  To the best of my knowledge parts of downtown Akron near the University were known as Spicer Town until the 1970's.  The area was originally named for Major Minor Spicer whose 260 acre farm once occupied this space.
